Moline Township Town Hall

Johnston Hall is available for rent seven days a week, during the day (ending at 5 pm).  When you rent the 34×57 room you will also get access to two bathrooms and a small kitchen.

The hall is spacious enough for Anniversaries, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Family Reunions, Graduations, Holiday Parties, and so much more.  There is a 100 person capacity in the Town Hall.

Pricing

RENTAL FEE
$160.00 for the first 4 hours.
$65.00 per hour after 4 hours.

The hall rental MUST be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.

DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT
$300.00  (The damage deposit MUST be paid in full to hold the hall rental date)

Your deposit check will not be cashed unless the deposit is not going to be refunded for any reason.  As long as ALL rules have been met, you will be able to pick up your deposit check in the Township office the next business day after the event and we verify that everything is cleaned up and put back as it was before it was rented.

Rules

ANYONE RENTING THE TOWN HALL MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:
IF THESE CONDITIONS ARE NOT MET THE ENTIRE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.

  • NO alcohol in or around the building (including the parking lot)
  • NO smoking or vaping in the building.  You may smoke/vape outside but all cigarette butts and debris must be disposed of properly outside.
  • Town Hall, restrooms, hallway, and kitchen (when applicable), MUST be free of all debris and floor must be swept.
  • The monitor will take care of garbage, and provide renter with soap and water to wash off tables and chairs.
  • All decorations must have prior approval (no confetti balloons or confetti on tables or floors).  You cannot remove any decorations already in the hall.
  • All entertainment must have prior approval.  Absolutely NO smoke or fog machines due to fire detection system.
  • This is NOT a playroom.  Children must be monitored at ALL times to prevent injuries and damage to the facility.
  • The event is to remain in the Town Hall – NOT in the parking lot or neighboring properties.
  • NO sitting, standing or jumping on tables.  NO standing or jumping on chairs.
  • Tables and Chairs are for your use.  When your event is over, please wipe down ALL tables and chairs and put them away on their respective carts.
  • If the fire alarm goes off, EVERYONE must exit the premises immediately and cannot return until the Moline Fire Department gives the “OK”.
  • If, for any reason, the Moline Fire Department responds to a false alarm call while you are renting the hall, you will be charged a $150.00 charge.

On-Duty Monitor

The on-duty monitor has the authority to end the event for Any Violation.  If this happens, your deposit will automatically be forfeited.  Everyone attending the event must leave promptly or the the Moline Police Department will be notified.

Town Hall, restrooms, hallway, parking lot and kitchen (when applicable) must be left in the same condition as when it was rented.  Please use your last 30 mins of rental to clean up.
