The
Rock Island County Treasurer mailed the 2009
Property Tax Bills on Friday May 7th. Payments
will be due on June 10th, August 10th, September
10th, and November 10th.
This time of year, my office gets
many calls from property owners wanting to know
why their tax bill went up (or down) from the
previous year. The township assessor's office
does not calculate your tax bill. We do not
have access to your tax bill. If you have any
concerns about your tax bill please call my
office to schedule an appointment. I would be
happy to look at your bill and find out the
reason for any changes. You will need to bring
your current bill and last years tax bill.
