Friday, May 9th, 2008: Louise A. Kerr,
Rock Island County Treasurer, announces the
mailing of 63,438 Rock Island County Real Estate
tax bills totaling more than $196,026,000.00.
Every year the tax bills are a different color.
This year's color is "pink shaded".
Four stubs are provided for those taxpayers
using the four installment plan. Due dates this
year will be June 12th, August 12th, September
12th and November 12th. Rock Island County is
the only County in Illinois that allows tax
payments to be made in four installments.
